A Few More.....

Ok so like I was saying before these skirts have totally taken over my life and house!  I have decided on a name Sassa Lu Skirts and I started a blog for them so that will be my next step.  None of the patterns have little baby sizes so I used Addison and made 3 different 3 month size skirts and  they are so cute and little!  It would be so fun to have 2 little girls and have them in matching skirts!!!  Last time I put this on people asked me about pricing and I have decided the little ones are $20 and the bigger are $30.  Each of these skirts are made with high quality fabric and surged on the inside so that the seams will never fray.  I have noticed the one hard thing in Utah is that everyone thinks they can make them for cheaper and don't realize  the actual work that goes into them.  I drive myself crazy with how big of a perfectionist I am I think I have a little OCD in me!  ha ha I wanted to thank everyone for the comments and ideas last time I posted about them.

These are probably my FAVORITE ones yet everyone knows my addiction to shoes so this fabric is to die for CUTE!! I went to the store to get some more and couldn't believe how much they had sold since I had been in there a few days before.  So my guess is that the fabric wont be around for too much longer.

This is the Oh Cheery oh fabric that I am also OBSESSED with!  Its the same fabric that I made my Mother-in-laws quilt out of and Siennas skirt just like this with the balls on the bottom. (by the way I HATE those little balls they bleed all over fabric and have ruined a few skirts so I learned my lesson with those)

This is Sienna's and Addison's Easter skirts and this fabric is so sweet!

So this is what I have been up to lately.  Making lots of little skirts, aprons, quilts, and finally doing Siennas big girl room.  I think I need my head examined!! ha ha But seriously it is the biggest stress reliever for me and most of all I love seeing the end results when they are all put together and finished!

I am the exact same way. My husband is gone a lot, especially in the summer, so when Brinley goes down, I just sew to keep me busy. Sew sew sew. It is a total stress reliever. Your skirts are to die for cute! That kind of stuff saves you so much money. Especially compared to like Matilda Jane clothes. I just found the patterns for Matilda Jane clothes too so if you ever want to know where to get them, let me know. You should totally apply to do the Beehive Bazaar or Oh Sweet SAdie. THat was my other idea for you. I have links to them on my blog. THey are craft fairs in Utah sorry this is so long.

These are beautiful Eccles! I'm really proud of you. What a great idea... way to use your talents. I was just telling my mom how pretty your clothes are. You should make smaller sizes too. I would buy them for my niece. ; P
