Poor SIENNA

(this has been my best friend for the past month)

I took Sienna back to the doctor today because within the last two days she has been coughing so hard it makes her throw up and she wont eat or sleep.  I felt stupid taking her back in because I was there last friday and was told  just had a little virus my how things can change in a few days.  Sienna has a double ear infection and ANOTHER sinus infection.  I am so over her being sick and cranky and I know she is so tired of being sick lets hope this time around the medicine helps and she is back to being herself soon!

Sick Days

I am so tired of the cold it seems like Sienna gets over one cold and then gets another.  So we have been having lots of sick days lately and it sure has been hard trying to keep a toddler entertained. Sienna seems to think that she is done taking naps and can I tell you how sad that has made me.  Somedays I think I am going to pull my hair out not having a break all day.  And to top it all off she has become the worlds pickiest eater everything is "kucky" the little stinker!  I can't wait for the summer to play outside and not be cooped up in the house. So here are some of the things that Sienna has been up to lately.

Play Kitchen (this kitchen has been my saving grace Sienna loves it and plays with it nonstop)

Build princess castles 

Give Baby a ride on her "choo choo" and giver her lots  of kisses

Wrestle with Wrangs (these two are the Best of friends I don't know what I would do without wrangs entertaining Sienna most of the day and always putting up with her!)

Get a pedicure (this was the first time she has ever let me paint her toes don't look too close I had hard time painting  her  wiggly toes!!!!)

Latest Projects!

I know what you are all are thinking I must be crazy or have way to much time on my hands.  Quilting has been such a fun outlet for me lately.  I get together every Thursday night with my mother in law and Sister in law and we sew sew sew!  I did the star quilt around Thanksgiving for Sienna but I just got it back from the quilters and I am so happy with how it turned out.  I have a few other Valentines projects I want to do, but as of today I am thinking they will be saved for next year.  I just started on Sienna's quilt for her big girl bed.  I know it would be so much easier to just buy it and save a bunch of time, but if I make it it can be exactly what I want!  Call me CRAZY and wish me luck!

Breakthrough!!!!

Ok for most of you who know me know that I am CRAZY when it comes to germs and until Sunday I had never let Sienna go to Nursery at church because of it.  I know that may sound so silly to some of you but it makes me cringe when I go to church and see the kids with snot all over there face and coughing all over everyone, so it has taken me a very LONG time to want to put Sienna in the nursery but I finally did it.  I stayed in there thinking she would be hesitant and cry but she LOVED it she had fun playing with all the kids and exploring all the new toys.  And it was a nice little break for me to actually be able to enjoy church.  Sienna has also been so good in sacrament lately and we haven't had to take her out for a tantrum in over a month it has been such a nice change!  

Happy Birthday Brother & Happy New Year

My Cute Brother was born on New Years so we had a fun get together for him last night.  Whitney and I were laughing about how we hated having to go up to Wyoming for New Years when we were in High School, but now I look back and I am so glad that we did!  I have to say that I have the best brother he is such a good example to me in all that he does.  I get a text message every day from him asking me how I am doing and telling me that he loves me and they always make my day!  Happy Birthday Brother I LOVE you!  We had a fun New Years playing BS and laughing our heads off at my mom who by the end of the game had the entire deck of cards in her hands!  Sienna thought it was the best night ever getting to stay up until 10:00 and being the life of the party like usual!  We ended up falling asleep right before midnight (we are getting old) 2008 was a great year I look forward to all the fun memories in 2009 Happy New Year!!!

MeRrY ChRiStMaS

I have to say that this has been my favorite Christmas ever.  Watching Siennas face light up when she saw all the presents was the best.  She wasn't into ripping open the presents like I thought she would be so I ended up opening them for her.  We have had such a fun month I am sad that it is over I have loved all the music and decorations and hearing Sienna say Santa over and over again!!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

This year I decided to start a new tradition and have breakfast at home.  My mom made the amazing homemade sweet rolls and I made the ham and cheese quiche's they turned out so yummy!

Cute Couples

Poor Sienna got hives on Christmas eve and they lasted for three days.  I took her to the doctors yesterday and she has a yucky virus.Why do kids always have to get sick over the holidays?

And to all a Good Night!  This was Sienna five minutes after we put her in the car to drive home she had a fun filled Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We started our busy night at the Schaar's eating dinner and then opening all our presents.  This year Casey's grandparents came and it made the night so fun!  Sienna got a new doll, stroller and too many other toys to name!  Lets just say that since she is the first grandchild on both sides she gets a little spoiled!  After that we went over to my parents house ate some more (I think Casey and I have gained 10 pounds each the last few days!!!)  Then we came home opened pjs hung our stockings and put Sienna boo to bed.  Casey and I had a long night ahead of us putting toys together, wrapping and baking food for christmas morning and christmas dinner.
