Latest Projects!

I know what you are all are thinking I must be crazy or have way to much time on my hands.  Quilting has been such a fun outlet for me lately.  I get together every Thursday night with my mother in law and Sister in law and we sew sew sew!  I did the star quilt around Thanksgiving for Sienna but I just got it back from the quilters and I am so happy with how it turned out.  I have a few other Valentines projects I want to do, but as of today I am thinking they will be saved for next year.  I just started on Sienna's quilt for her big girl bed.  I know it would be so much easier to just buy it and save a bunch of time, but if I make it it can be exactly what I want!  Call me CRAZY and wish me luck!

Very cute - good job! I wish I had time to do stuff like that. I bet Sienna's quilt for her big girl bed will turn out way cute. Yes, we do need to get together. Finding a babysitter is so hard lately but then I feel guilty too when I try to get one. With how busy I am at work I feel guilty making anyone but myself watch Isabelle any more than I have to. We can maybe try to hang out this saturday.

I didn't know you sew. Fun. I am just starting a project myself. Going to sew my own skirt, one that looks just like this one I like at anthropologie. Wish me luck though, I have never done anything for myself. If I learn how to do it, and it turns out cute, you should do it! THose blankets are adorable! Lots of work I bet!

WOW!!! I LOVE IT! I am so jealous!!! Those are the cutest. K I need to see this quilt you are making Sienna..did you decide to use Amy Butler?? I love the idea of making your own I would totally do that too if I knew how because it's much easier to put the patterns together and have it turn out like you picture it! I sooo need to join you on Thurs. nights it's just hard with Cor working and finding a sitter and living out here but I will join you one of these weeks!!

I would have no idea where to begin!!! But I do know how much time, work, and talent you have to have to make those. They are amazing. How cute Sienna has a crafty mother to sew and make stuff for her...my poor kids! Good job Ash!
