Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Christmas Eve we all started at my parents and ate a yummy feast.  It was so nice having us all together for the night and not having to rush off to get to other parties we just ate and talked.  We are so BLESSED to have such amazing family to spend the holidays with!!  Then we headed home for our own little Christmas traditions this year was EXTRA special with Sienna being so into christmas.  She loved putting out the Milk and cookies for santa, singing songs for the video recorder, and opening her Christmas pj's.  Casey has this thing where he has to get up when it is dark outside and open presents and Sienna was not to happy about it.  She was so funny it took her a little bit to wake up and remember that it was Christmas and that Santa had come last night.  Casey and I decided this year that we weren't going to give each other gifts and just focus on Sienna and I have to say that it was so nice and simple!  She LOVED her doll house and princess barbies to go in it and loved her little carriage!  I made our yummy Christmas breakfast and we got to sit and enjoy the day with Sienna and not worry about rushing from house to house.  We went over to my parents around 4:00 and by then I started to feel sick so we didn't get to stay long before my nasty flu bug took over.  I think it should be a rule that you can't get sick on Christmas I ended up in bed the rest of the night and weekend and am now finally starting  feel better!

Cute Whitney and Peter

My one picture with Casey!  He is as bad as Sienna when it comes to pictures!!!

Cute Enoch and Nicole

Sienna in her new Christmas pj's and matching quilt that mommy made her
Putting out Santa's snack and eating a few of them herself!

Sienna was so EXCITED when she saw all her toys she didn't even care to open the presents she just wanted to sit and play with her doll house

Casey was so CUTE and surprised me with a new pair of  rain boots and a matching pair for Sienna!!
Just relaxing in her princess carriage with her new princess sleeping bag
She LOVED her new Dyson vacuum like mommys
And Mimi got her a ZhuZhu pet that was her FAVORITE gift!
Loving her new baby from Mimi and Papa
Oh how I LOVE this little bug and I especially love her hugs!

We went up to Bear Lake the day after Christmas to be with Casey's family it was a fun little getaway.  Although it would of been much more fun if I felt good and we got to stay longer than 1 day!!!
Cute little Haylee opening her present from Sienna
This was probably the only present Sienna opened.  I don't know what it is but she could care less about ripping off the rapping paper next year santa will leave them unwrapped instead of staying up all night!!!
Sienna and Haylee with there matching quilts
Sienna loves to mall Haylee every chance she gets she gives her kisses.  Poor Haylee got so tired of her by the time we had to go home!

So CUTE!
Sienna gave Haylee a dress to like hers so they could match.  Oh man having two girls would be way to much fun and way to EXPENSIVE!

The Holidays

I am slacking big time this year at taking pictures I have been to two 4 parties and only took pictures one night.  What can I say other than as you can tell Sienna HATES to get her picture taken and Casey does to.  I always look at these cute blogs with these 2 year olds posing and actually smiling and husbands in pictures and I am in complete aww because not my family I am lucky to get them in a picture!!! My goal the next few days is to take LOTS of pictures and actually get my family in them lets see if I can accomplish it!!!

This was my attempt at a picture before church! ha ha ha
I LOVE my Daddy
Not the best picture but at least she is in it!

Sienna had so much fun playing with Sissy and J
LOVE them

Seeing the Lights

This month has gone so fast that we have hardly had any time to do any of our Family traditions.  And since it is basically almost over we decided we better do some cramming and get it all in.  I think we picked one of the coldest nights we were so frozen that we lasted about 15 min and only took a few pictures which is so unlike me!!  Sienna's first reaction when she saw the temple with all the lights is "oh it's MAGICAL" followed by "it's WONDERFUL" and then "it's just PERFECT"!! I don't know where she comes up with her funny little sayings but she sure makes us laugh.  She has been so much fun this year there isn't a day that goes by that we don't watch the Christmas trains (The Polar Express) and Mickey Christmas.

Big GIRL NOW!!!

I finally decided it was time for me to get this little monkey out of diapers. We are going on week 2 and she is doing AMAZING!!!  Last weekend she had a UTI and was holding her potty for 7-9 hours because it hurt her to much to go.  At first I thought she was being stubborn and just didn't want to go on the potty, we had a few of those moments but I later found out that the poor little thing was really uncomfortable.  When I started this I was so scared that I was going to be in public and have a huge accident, but she has never had a accident in public.  Yesterday I was upstairs vacuming when I heard this loud banging coming up the stairs I stop and ask her what she is doing and she replys "mom I gotta go potty " as she is bringing her little potty up the stairs!!  ha ha The little potty has been our life savor she was one of those kids that was really afraid of the big potty so my next step is transitioning her over to the big one.

Christmas Quilts

I learned my lesson last year and decided 3 was enough!  With our crazy schedules I haven't been doing much sewing, but it really is my therapy I really LOVE it and I need to make more time for it.
This has to be one of my FAVORITES!!!
This is Sienna's Christmas quilt that matches her christmas pajamas!
This is my second Reindeer quilt I wasn't able to get it quilted maybe next year!!!

Thankful

We have so much going on right now that the last thing on my mind has been my blog. This year for Thanksgiving we went up to My Grandpas cabin in Star valley Wyoming it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and so much fun. We had a blast playing in the little bit of snow that was outside, playing games, watching movies and just being together as a family. We have so many things to be thankful for first on our list would be our AMAZING families. These last 6 months have taught Casey and I so much and we would be lost without there constant support. I am so THANKFUL for a husband that works as hard as he does. Casey would do anything in order to provide for his girls. And most of all our HEALTHY little girl Sienna is the biggest blessing in our lives. What would I do without my spunky little SASS!!

Just laying around

Playing in the Snow

You never know what kind of trouble these two overgrown children will get into
